NO. NO. NO. I am so tired of seeing shit like this.
Stop pushing the idea that you must be incredibly skinny/underweight to be attractive or “perfect”. All bodies are good bodies.
These are not weights you should aim for.
They are not “perfect” nor will these weights make you perfect.
They are all UNDERWEIGHT.This isn’t to say girls who are naturally skinny are unhealthy or in danger if their weight is in these ranges. I am not saying that, I am only pointing out the fact that these are NOT realistic/healthy weights for the majority of us.
this should be mass reblogged and make even more notes than the original so the message is out there! IMPORTANT!
this is fucking stupid.. at 5’7 the lowest I’d be able to go without being underweight is 118. and thats pushing it.
get real ladies. The old me would believe in this and strive to get to “perfect” but I’ve changed for the better. I now know that trying to be underweight is NOT the right way to go. Anybody who is trying to actually follow this chart should really think about what they’re doing to their body :(
It’s funny, because people don’t realize NO ONE LOOKS their weight. Especially taller girls. They always look skinnier than they are. these weights above are stupid. You would have to starve your self/do drugs to get to these super low weights
lol yolo

I am so thankful to have parents that are extremely supportive of my weight loss journey. I talk to my mom a lot about it, because she and I are super close. She, of course, shares everything with my dad. She tells me often how proud they both are of me. When I told my dad that I’d lost over 40 lbs since starting this, he told me I should go to the store and pick up a bag of water softener salt (they weigh 40 lbs).
Today after church and lunch with them, we stopped at a local grocery store. My dad asked how many pounds I was down, and I told him 42 lbs. So he took me over to the cat food and had me hold enough bags to equal 42 lbs just so I could really see how much I’ve lost.
As he put the last bag of cat food on my arms, I was shocked at how heavy 42 lbs actually was and that less than 9 months ago, I was carrying that weight on my body. As I stood there waiting for my mom to take my picture (“This would be a great picture for your blog!” said Dad), I could feel my face getting flushed just from holding the weight. It’s no wonder I sweated all the time whenever I did anything.
This weekend has been a good one for putting everything into perspective. Sometimes I forget to step back and acknowledge what I’ve accomplished so far instead of focusing so much on how far I still have to go.
I’d like to encourage you to do the same the next time you’re feeling discouraged. Try picking up the amount of weight you’ve lost so far, or try on a pair of your “fat” pants. Then don’t feel an ounce guilty for giving yourself a pat on the back, because you are awesome. And you deserve it.
Your parents=wonderful
